I have always learned through conversation. Some of my most meaningful work has happened in classrooms, workshops, podcasts, public panels, conference rooms, radio studios, and informal discussions with people trying to rethink education.
This page brings together selected talks, podcasts, interviews, and public conversations from my work across France, Pakistan, and the United States. Some of these conversations are in different languages, but the recordings I share here are selected with accessibility in mind, including subtitles wherever available.
Many of these podcast conversations explore AI, faculty development, and the future of higher education, often drawing from the experimental work happening at San Francisco Bay University.
Many of these discussions explore the APP curriculum and its ten “How To” courses, alongside leading-edge work with AI, including collaborations with Alma Learning, custom AI teaching assistants, authentic assessment, and the design of more human-centered educational experiences.
Conversation on identity, reinvention, and personal transformation.
Discussion on innovation, learning environments, and campus design.
Conversation on AI, curriculum redesign, and the future of higher education.
Discussion on SFBU’s educational model and AI-integrated learning.
Many of these talks and interviews emerged from my work as a founding faculty member at Habib University, Pakistan’s first liberal arts and sciences university. These conversations explore the challenges of rethinking higher education, building new institutional cultures, establishing the country’s first design research lab, The Playground, and later developing the Center for Pedagogical Excellence to support teaching, learning, and faculty development in rapidly changing educational contexts.
